The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska says business is back to usual at its casino in Iowa.
The tribe was forced to close WinnaVegas Casino after massive flooding on the Missouri River a year ago.
The facility wasn't damaged but the only road to the casino was washed out for weeks.
The tribe responded with an innovative solution -- amphibious boats were used to bring customers and employees to the casino. The facility reopened on July 28, 2011.
"Our regulars ... they were here right away. Everybody showed up, just like it was normal, like there wasn't a flood almost," security employee Kevin Crawford told KTIV-TV.
The road was finally cleared in time for the Labor Day weekend.
