The Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma broke ground on its second gaming facility on Wednesday.
The tribe is building a temporary casino with 300 gaming machines, a snack shop and a bar. The building will open in August, The Shawnee News-Star reported.
Construction of the permanent casino will begin next year. The project includes a hotel and a convenience store.
