Voters in Taunton, Massachusetts, who want to find out more about the casino being proposed by the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe can go online for information.

The tribe is running Together for Taunton to promote its $500 million project. “I feel like a resort casino would be good for the city and was happy to be involved and be a part of it," Terry Quinn, the chairman of the group, told The Taunton Gazette.

Benjamin Tigano is running an anti-gaming site at Stop the Taunton Casino. He said he wants voters to be informed when they go to the polls on June 9.

“I think my biggest fear is people not thinking it’s going through or thinking it is going through and not voting,” Tigano told the paper. “I think it’s important for people to get out and vote regardless.”
