The comment period on the Spokane Tribe off-reservation casino is due to end on Wednesday.
The tribe plans to build a casino and other developments on a 145-acre site in Airway Heights. The city supports the project and recently annexed the tribe's property.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs released a draft environmental impact
statement for the the West Plains Mixed-Use Development project in early March.
