"Twenty-two more casinos?
The plans revealed in Sunday’s Free Press to nearly double the gambling dens in Michigan would surely change the landscape of the Great Lakes State.
And we’d probably have to think about changing that slogan, too, as Michigan, with 47 casinos, would jump from 16th up to 8th place among states that allow gambling.
Could we, for example, go from Great Lakes State to High Stakes State?
Maybe instead of a “Pure Michigan” ad campaign, we’d have “Michigan — Pure Chance.”"
