The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska will open the doors to its new casino hotel this month.
The hotel at the WinnaVegas Casino features 78 rooms, an indoor pool, a fitness room, a salon and a video and arcade room. Reception rooms with a capacity of up to 300 will open in May.
"In order to be seen as a real competitor in this market, you have to be able to offer great amenities, along with comfortable settings conducive to productive meetings,"
Catherine Colsrud, the general manager at the casino, told The Sioux City Journal.
The tribe hired more than 50 people staff the hotel.
