The Seneca Nation has banned Sen. Mark Grisanti
(R) and his wife from one of its casinos after an incident earlier this month.
Grisanti was banned for three years from the Seneca Niagara
Casino. His wife, Maria, was banned for one year, according to news reports.
The Grisantis claimed they were attacked by tribal members following an event at the casino on February 10. However, local authorities said they wouldn't be charging anyone for the altercation itself.
One tribal member, Christina M. Schindler, is facing charges of disorderly conduct. However, the charges stem from her dealings with security guards at the casino and not with the Grisantis.
Schindler and two other tribal members were also banned from the casino.
