Forest County Potawatomi Tribe presents casino hotel plan
Tuesday, February 28, 2012
Forest County Potawatomi Tribe is moving forward with a hotel at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The tribe presented the $150 million, 382-room hotel to the city's Plan Commission on Monday. The hotel will feature a roof-deck pool, a restaurant, a spa and a four-story parking structure. The project now goes before the city's zoning commission. The city council will have to give final approval before the tribe can begin construction. Although the casino is on trust land, the hotel will be on fee property, so the tribe will pay property and hotel taxes. Get the Story:
