The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians reopened the Phillip M's restaurant on Tuesday.
The restaurant is named for the late chief Phillip Martin. It was renamed after he lost election in 2007 but new Chief Phyllis J. Anderson brought it back.
"Under the visionary leadership of our late Chief Phillip Martin, our tribe realized great progress and today I am proud to honor his legacy with the re-opening of Phillip M's," Anderson said, The Neshoba Democrat reported.
Phillip M's is located at the Pearl River Resort.
