Developer appeals ruling in Massachusetts gaming lawsuit

K.G. Urban Enterprises will continue to fight tribal provisions in H.3702, the Massachusetts gaming law.

On February 16, a federal judge upheld the constitutionality of the law, which reserves one casino for "a federally recognized tribe." KG claims the provision is racially discriminatory.

The lawsuit will now go to the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals, which has a somewhat negative record on tribal cases.
