"Memo to street thugs everywhere with a score to settle: Dress in suits and have your throw-down in a fancy bar in full view of everyone, not on some dimly lit street corner.

Then you, too, can walk away after the ruckus because bar fights are just too hard to sort out.

Of course, it probably also helps if you’re a state senator or a businessman —but that may not be absolutely necessary.

On the other hand, a hazy memory is essential.

Six days after the Seneca Niagara Casino fracas, that seems to be the recipe for getting away with, if not murder, at least a whole lot of mayhem."
