Chickasaw Nation breaks ground on 18th casino in Oklahoma

The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma broke ground last month on a $20 million casino.

The 33,800-square-foot Salt Creek Casino will feature about 500 electronic games, table games and a restaurant. It's the tribe's 18th gaming facility in the state.

“We are excited about our opportunity to further strengthen our business portfolio in this area of the state,” Gov. Bill Anoatubby said in a press release, The Oklahoman reported.

The casino is slated to open this summer.
