A bill to authorize three non-Indian casinos in Florida was withdrawn on Friday.
The bill faced significant opposition from the Seminole Tribe and other groups.
If enacted, it would have violated the exclusivity provisions of the tribe's Class III gaming compact.
The bill could return next year.
