Connecticut tribes report increases in slot machine revenues

Connecticut's two tribal casinos saw an increase in slot machine revenues for the month of December 2011.

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation reported an 11.4 percent increase in its slot machine win, when compared to December 2010. The Mohegan Tribe reported a 6.7 percent increase.

“It feels good,” Mohegan Sun President and CEO Jeff Hartmann told The Norwich Bulletin. “It’s an indication the economy may be turning around. Our marketing team did a great job.”
