Oklahoma tribes discuss potential regulations at NIGC consultation

Oklahoma tribes are meeting with the National Indian Gaming Commission.

The agency is consulting tribes about potential changes to its regulations. Nothing is being proposed right now but priorities are being identified, said one attorney.

"It's still in the discussion stage," Elizabeth Homer, a former vice chair of the NIGC, told The Tulsa World. "It's not even debating at this point. That will come later."

The meeting started yesterday and continues today.
