Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe no longer interested in old dog track

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts is no longer in talks to purchase an old dog track, the owner of the facility said.

Raynham Park owner George Carney said he hasn't communicated with the tribe in nearly six weeks. “I’ve been led to believe they have another location they think is better,” he told Gatehouse News Service.

The tribe's two prior gaming sites have fallen through.
