Tribal gaming revenue sharing in Arizona increases 7.1 percent

Revenue sharing grew by 7.1 percent in the last quarter, the Arizona Department of Gaming reported.

Tribes with Class III gaming compacts shared $24.5 million in the quarter that ended June 30. That's an increase from the second quarters in 2010 and 2009.

"People are a little more comfortable using entertainment dollars," Valerie Spicer, the executive director of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association, told Capitol Media Services.
