A 42-year-old non-Indian man faces attempted murder and domestic violence charges in state court for a shooting that took place at the casino owned by the Muckleshoot Tribe.
Cesar Arturo Chaparro is being held in lieu of $1 million bail. He is accused of opening fire at Club Galaxy inside the Muckleshoot Casino, injuring his estranged wife, her sister and five other people.
Keri Stanberry was on the gaming floor when the shooting occurred. She was a frequent patron of the casino but says she won't return again.
"They didn't protect the people who were giving them money.," Stanberry told The Seattle Times. "They should have had metal detectors."
The tribe has declined to comment on the incident.
