Hearing set on Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe's gaming compact

The South Dakota Commission on Gaming will hold a public hearing this Friday on a new gaming compact with the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe.

The deal allows the tribe to add 250 slot machines to the Royal River Casino. That's double the number in the current compact.

The tribe and the state reached the deal on the eve of a federal court trial.
