Shoshone-Bannock Tribes break ground for hotel at casino

The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of Idaho broke ground on a new hotel at the Fort Hall Casino.

The tribe is spending $47 million for five-story hotel and events center. The facility is expected to debut by Memorial Day in 2012.

"This is an important project that we're doing here today, not only for the tribe but for southeast Idaho," Chairman Nathan Small said at the groundbreaking, KIFI-TV reported.
