The Rosebud Sioux Tribe of South Dakota has secured funding to make upgrades to its casino.
The tribe will redo the entire gaming floor at the Rosebud Casino, Hotel, and Fuel Plaza.
The tribe is also installing a new surveillance system and new slot machines and is remodeling other areas of the facility.
The money for the project is coming from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community of Minnesota.
Taking into account the remaining balance on a prior loan, the Shakopee Tribe has loaned the Rosebud Sioux Tribe about $10 million.
