The Mashpee
Wampanoag Tribe is still looking for a site to host a casino in southeastern Massachusetts.
The tribe's deals in Middleboro and Fall River have fallen through. An additional site in Raynham also didn't work out.
News reports say the tribe is now looking at Bridgewater and New Bedford. But there have been no planned announcements.
Under H.3702, the state's new gaming law, the tribe needs to have a site in place and negotiate a Class III gaming compact by July 31, 2012.
Otherwise, the state will open southeastern Massachusetts to other parties.
