The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe plans to build a $18.5 million biogas plant next to its off-reservation casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The facility would process waste from the food industry. It would generate 2 megawatts of electricity, to be sold to We Energies, plus enough heat for hot water and heating at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino.
The tribe needs approval from the city to build the plant.
