The Oneida Nation of New York is handing out $5 million in bonuses to its 4,500 employees.
The majority of bonuses will go to employees of the Turning Stone Casino & Resort.
The tribe is the largest employer in Oneida and Madison counties.
"We have to really decide whether or not the year allows us to do this, but it is an investment back into our community," Ray Halbritter, the tribe's representative, said at a press conference this morning, WKTV reported.
