The Confederated Tribes of the
Warm Springs Reservation in Oregon expect to see a big boost in visitors and revenue with the relocation of its casino.
The Indian Head
Casino is just off a major highway. With increased traffic, the tribe expects to see revenue of $20 million a year, up from $4 million currently.
"It's going to bring additional jobs over and above what we have here at the casino at Kah-Nee-Ta. It's also going to bring the casino entertainment closer to the population," Alan Post, interim general manager of the nearby Kah-Nee-Ta Resort &
Casino. told KTVZ.
The tribe negotiated an amendment to its Class III gaming compact to move the casino.
