The Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians said its gaming facility contributed $253 million in economic activity in San Diego County, California.
The tribe hired Beacon Economics to study the Harrah's Rincon Casino and Resort.
In addition to supporting 2,100 jobs, the report said casino generated $142.5 million in direct spending, $43.2 million is indirect expenditures and $67.6 million in induced spending.
"We are proud to learn that we are doing our share to provide jobs and contribute to the county's economic growth," Chairman Bo Mazzetti said in a press release
The tribe recently won a federal court ruling that said the state of California can't demand a share of gaming revenues without providing meaningful concessions.
