A retired farmer won $985,969 Canadian at the Painted Hand Casino in Saskatchewan on Wednesday.
Emile Chandonnet won the money on a progressive slot machine.
The jackpot was the second-largest in Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority history.
The jackpot comes to more than $1 million in US dollars.
