Winnebago Tribe might not need duck boats at casino any longer

The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska might not need to use duck boats to transport patrons to its casino in Iowa much longer.

The road to the WinnaVegas Casino is drying up, The Sioux City Journal reported. It could be clear within the next few days.

The tribe spent more than $100,000 to buy two amphibious vehicles to cross the road, which was flooded by the Missouri River. "We had to do it, because July is our best month," Chairman John Blackhawk told the paper.
