The Miccosukee
Tribe has settled a lawsuit with Univision Radio in Florida over the actions of an unidentified casino maintenance worker.
The worker was allegedly clearing trees at the Miccosukee Resort when a radio tower for WQBA fell
down and was destroyed. WQBA sits next to the casino.
The tribe paid $60,000 to replace the tower but Univision went to federal court anyway. The parties reported a settlement in court papers.
