Dry Creek Rancheria pays $9M for easement on road to casino

The Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians of California has agreed to pay $9 million for an easement that's needed to build a road to its casino.

The new road will provide emergency access to the River Rock Casino. Construction is expected to be completed in mid-2012, The Santa Rosa Press-Democrat reported.

The tribe also has an option to buy 310 acres for the road.
