Revenue sharing grew by 7.1 percent in the last quarter, the Arizona Department of Gaming reported.
Tribes with Class III gaming compacts shared $24.5 million in the quarter that ended June 30. That's an increase from the second quarters in 2010 and 2009.
"People are a little more comfortable using entertainment dollars,"
Valerie Spicer, the executive director of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association, told Capitol Media Services.
