Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, has requested approval to build a casino in Atlantic City.
The "boutique" casino will be the first of its kind in New Jersey. Initial plans call for a a 54,800-square-foot gaming hall with a 208-room hotel and 2,400-space garage.
Eventually, the casino could expand with more gaming space, hotel rooms and parking spaces. But it's the first under a new state law that allows smaller gaming facilities.
