Sheila Morago has been hired as the first full-time executive director of the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association.
Morago is a member of the Gila River Indian Community. Since 2004, she has served as executive director of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association.
“While I am very sad to leave AIGA, I am looking forward to this new opportunity as Oklahoma is a significant player in the gaming industry. It is the 4th largest gaming revenue generator behind Nevada, California and New Jersey,” Morago said in a press release.
OIGA represents 22 tribes.
