The Upper Sioux Community in Minnesota is spending $13.5 million to upgrade its casino.
The first phase of the project is complete. Visitors to the Prairie’s Edge Casino Resort can stay at new smoke-free hotel wing with 76 rooms.
The tribe is also adding 15,000 square-feet of gaming and meeting space to the facility.
