The Yakama Nation of
Washington unveiled plans for a $90 million expansion of the Yakama Nation Legends
Casino.
The tribe will add 200-room hotel, 200-seat bingo hall, convention and banquet hall, parking garage, restaurant, meeting rooms, swimming pool, spa to the facility. The number of slot machines will be boosted from 1,400 to 1,600.
The tribe plans to add between 150 to 200 jobs at the casino. "It helps create that employment in the construction industry, create that employment in the casino," Chairman Harry Smisken told KVEW-TV.
