The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut will be opening a gas station exclusive to the 8,000 employees of Mohegan Sun.
The station will be located on land that is not held in trust, The New London Day reported. The tribe has received special permits from the town of Montville for the project.
The tribe will offer discounted gas though the prices haven't been set.
"We're always trying to give value back to the employees whenever we can," Ray Pineault, Mohegan Sun's executive vice president and chief operating officer, told the paper. "Now, with the rising gas prices, it will be a very good benefit. It'll lessen the blow of the commute."
