The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe wants South Dakota Gov. Mike Rounds (R) to testify in a gaming compact case.
The tribe filed the lawsuit after Rounds refused to renegotiate the compact. But state attorneys say he doesn't need to testify.
The current compact limits the tribe to 250 slot machines. Non-Indian casinos in the state operate nearly 8,300 slot machines.
