Gun Lake Tribe close to announcing grand opening for new casino

The Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Potawatomi Indians of Michigan, also known as the Gun Lake Tribe, is close to announcing an opening date for its first casino.

The tribe expects the $157 million Gun Lake Casino to open next month. The exact date could be announced next week, spokesperson James Nye said.

In the meantime, the tribe is busy training card dealers for the facility. About 700 people, including 100 card dealers, will work at the casino.
