Poarch Creeks start work on commercial gaming facility in Florida

The Poarch Band of Creek Indians is expanding its gaming empire to Florida.

The tribe operates three Indian gaming facilities and commercial racetracks in Alabama. Now it's working with the city of Gretna, Florida, on a racetrack and poker facility there.

"Gretna is a wonderful community, and it is a privilege to be able to provide jobs here," Chairman Buford L. Rolin said, WTVY reported.

The 100-acre facility will be located off a major interstate.
