Saginaw Chippewa Tribe shares nearly $680K in casino revenue

The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan shared $677,959 in gaming revenues with local governments and public schools.

As part of its Class III gaming compact, the tribe shares two percent of revenues twice a year. Local governments received $440,673 and schools received $237,285.

“We bring a lot of people to this community,” tribal spokesperson Frank Cloutier told The Arenac County Independent. “We hope that your businesses and schools see the benefits. We have a great partnership.”

Since 1994, the tribe has shared more than $200 million with the community.
