Communities in California to get $30M in tribal casino revenues

Communities in California are looking forward to receiving their share of $30 million in tribal gaming revenues.

The money comes from the Indian Gaming Special Distribution Fund. Tribes that signed Class III compacts in 1999 pay into the fund.

"It's a great program and we're happy to get it, San Diego County tribal liaison Teresa Brownyard told The North County Times.

San Diego County is due to receive about $3 million.
