Navajo Nation hosts grand opening for Class II gaming facility

The Navajo Nation opens the doors to its second gaming facility today.

The Flowing Water Navajo Casino in Hogback, New Mexico, features 120 Class II machines. The 11,000-square-foot facility cost $3.1 million.

"This is small in comparison to other casinos in the area, but with this one, we're kind of getting a foot in the door," said Sean McCabe,the chairman of the board for the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise, The Farmington Daily Times reported.

The casino employs 62 people, all members of the Navajo Nation and other tribes.
