The Penobscot Nation can't offer electronic pull tabs, according to Maine attorney general Janet Mills.
The tribe planned to install the machines at its bingo hall. But Mills says they do not act in the same manner as paper pull tabs.
Chief Kirk Francis told WCSH-TV last month that the tribe wanted to offer the machines to improve economic conditions on the reservation.
