Leech Lake Band completes casino and hotel renovation project

The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Indians in Minnesota completed a two-month renovation of the Palace Casino and Hotel.

The tribe asked customers for suggestions to improve the facility, which is housed in a building from 1980. Changes include more gaming floor space, more slot machines and updated hotel rooms.

“We didn’t close one day,” casino host Brad Feldt told The Bemidji Pioneer. “We did it all while we were operating. Little bits and pieces while we were open.”
