Arizona's share of tribal gaming revenues falls for another quarter

Tribal casino revenues fell by three percent in the last quarter, according to the latest report from the Arizona Department of Gaming.

Tribes shared $22.8 million with the state, according to the report. "Like any other industry, tribal gaming is not immune to the recession and its impact," Mark Brnovich, the department's director, told Capitol Media Services.

Tribal revenues have been falling since 2007. But the decline appears to have slowed -- the results from the prior quarter were 9.4 percent lower.
