Otoe-Missouria Tribe cleans up casino after tornado damage

The Otoe-Missouria Tribe of Oklahoma is making repairs to the 7 Clans Paradise Casino, which suffered tornado damage on Monday.

No one was hurt when the tornado hit the 40,000-square-feet casino. Power has been restored and about half of the facility has been reopened.

"They hope to have the rest of the casino opened by Saturday,” spokesperson Heather Sarles told The Oklahoman.

Gov. Brad Henry (D) declared a state of emergency in 56 counties in response to the tornadoes and severe storms. Tribes throughout the state have reported damage.
