Daniel J.
Little, a nominee to the National Indian Gaming Commission, was not behind Internet postings that criticized President Barack Obama, an Interior Department spokesperson said.
Little, a longtime employee of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal
Nation of Connecticut, has used "DJLnDC" on various websites. Someone with the same username criticized Obama, Democrats and the "leftist media" on various sites, ABCNews reported earlier this month.
"We have looked into those comments, and Mr. Little has said that he did not post those comments," an Interior spokesperson told The New London Day. "We're going with what he has said."
The ABCNews item appeared after the comment period on Little's nomination closed.
