The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut continues to do well with its slot machine facility in Pennsylvania.
The Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs saw a 19 percent increase in gaming revenues in 2009. That was the best result among all six gaming facilities in the state.
"During a tough economy, we continue to stay focused on developing great guest service," CEO and President Bobby Soper told The Wilkes-Barre Times Leader.
The tribe expects more growth with the addition of table games at the facility.
The casino already boasts 2,400 slot machines, 10 restaurants, seven bars and six retail shops
