Oklahoma tribes shared $112M in casino revenue in 2009

Oklahoma tribes contributed $112 million in gaming revenues to the state in 2009 though only a fraction goes to problem gambling programs.

According to The Oklahoman, tribes contributed only $250,000 for gambling treatment. A larger share, $500,000, came from the state Lottery, whose $69 million revenues in 2009 fell far below that of tribes.

A Chance to Change, a gambling treatment contractor, says it has seen a 50 percent increase in services so far this year.
