The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma presented plans for a state-owned casino in Kansas.
The tribe will call the facility the WinSpirit Casino. Plans call for a 260,000 square-foot casino with 1,300 electronic games, 40 blackjack tables, 20 poker tables, a 1,400-seat entertainment and events center, an 80-room hotel and capacity for six restaurants and bars.
The tribe might also build a race track at the facility. Future phases could include more gaming floor space, a hotel, parking garage and RV park.
The Chickasaw Nation is competing with another company to build a casino. A winner will be selected on December 15.
